- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) are a plus.
- Team Leadership: Builds and manages a high-performing IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of LUMCON's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and security systems. Ensures the availability, performance, and scalability of IT resources to meet organizational needs.
- Information Security: Develops and enforces security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's data, networks, and systems from unauthorized access, threats, and vulnerabilities. Stays up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices in IT security.
- Vendor Management: Evaluates and selects technology vendors, negotiates contracts, and manages vendor relationships to ensure timely and quality delivery of products and services. Conducts regular vendor performance reviews and assesses the alignment of vendor offerings with business needs.
- Strategic Planning: Develops and implements an IT strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Identify and prioritize IT initiatives that will drive operational efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage.
- Systems and Applications: Manages the selection, implementation, and integration of software systems and applications across the organization. Collaborates with stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solutions, and ensure seamless operation and user satisfaction.
- IT Governance and Compliance: Establishes and maintains IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implements controls and monitoring mechanisms to mitigate risks and ensure data privacy and integrity.
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Develops and maintains business continuity and disaster recovery plans to minimize the impact of IT disruptions and ensure the timely recovery of critical systems and data in case of a disaster or cyber incident.
- Budgeting and Resource Management: Develops and manages the IT department's budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective procurement of hardware, software, and services. Monitors expenses, tracks IT equipment and software and provides regular reports to senior management.
