Job Description
Inside the Role
This unique supply chain role has both planning and operational responsibilities within the global Daimler Truck Powersystems global Consolidation Center (CC) network. Primary responsibilities include representing North America’s CC in global process and IT system change alignment, master data governance, calculating financial costs & expected parts usage, inventory strategy, and supporting projects incl. launch of new customers. As the only CC Business Systems Analyst in North America, this role has high impact and high visibility within the local team and entire global CC network.
In the new world of costly, volatile and uncertain supply chains, operating an effective global network of freight consolidation has never been more important. Based out of Detroit, Michigan, the North American CC supplies parts to over 25 production and aftermarket locations, including Powersystems and Truck manufacturing.

Position offers a starting salary range of $74,500.00 - $95,000.00 USD

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Project lead for launch of new customers and scope changes
  • Troubleshoot inbound EDI issues with customer schedules as required
  • On-site lead for ERP system support and escalation management
  • Lead and coordinate annual mark-up cost calculation for all customers
  • Plan and coordinate bi-annual wall-to-wall physical inventory
  • Reconcile monthly financial imbalances between ERP and Accounting systems to ensure compliance
  • Assist CC employees with various system/process related issues
  • ERP system setup, scope implementation and maintenance of master data documentation
  • Perform ERP system inventory gains and losses
  • Calculate annual EPU for purchased parts
  • Update and maintain process documentation as required
  • Develop and implement new processes including documentation and training as required
  • Participate in and/or lead special project teams in order to continuously improve processes
  • Create and distribute various reports internally and externally
  • Prepare communication and make presentations as required
  • Support resolution of inventory issues as required
  • Maintain metrics and KPI’s
  • Represent CC in cross-functional projects and meetings
Collaborate effectively with the local CC team, customers and cross-functions, including: CC Gaggenau + global
CC’s, Supplier Management, Transportation, Operations, etc.
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college in Supply Chain Management, Business, IT, Operations Management
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Experience with CC SAP ERP System
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management and priority-setting skills
  • Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • German language desirable but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
