We are currently seeking experienced IRONWORKER JOURNEYMAN for our Formosa Project in Point Comfort, Texas. The hourly pay will be between $30.00-$32.00 depending on experience and certifications. Per Diem Available based on meeting requirements.

As an Ironworker Journeyman for our Formosa Project, you will contribute to our team by:

• Safe use of Hand & Power Tools.
• Strong working knowledge of and experience working with structural steel.
• Must work well as part of a team.
• Ambassador for PCL to the client, other contractors, and the public.
• Assist in assuring all required PCL and client Safety and QA/QC forms are properly filled out with all necessary signatures.
• Keep a clean work area.
• Work safely at all times and promote safety to others around you.
• Participate fully in health, safety, quality, and environmental processes.
• Must be willing to provide guidance and on the job training experience to other crafts from Ironworker Helpers to Laborers.
• Perform quality work as determined by the project specifications.

What you will bring to the role:

• Knowledge of rigging skills, rigging procedures, OSHA standards, and be able to handle and install large steel components.
• Strong math knowledge and skills as related to the job tasks.
• Knowledge of connecting, placing, rigging, joining, and cutting structural steel.
• Able to use torch cutting equipment.
• Successfully complete the appropriate PCL skills assessment tests.
• Able to read and understand structural drawings.
• Current TWIC Card required.
• Knowledge of the various sizes of structural shapes, fasteners, grating, and metal sheeting.
• Four or more years of experience in the industrial Ironworking industry (petrochemical, power plant, cement plant) or related field
