Investment Strategist Jobs

KLR Investment Advisors, LLC is comprised of a group of talented professionals who provide comprehensive professional services to successful individuals and families. We are seeking an Investment Strategist to join our growing practice, based out of any of our New England offices on a flexible hybrid basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the research, due diligence, analysis, and investment planning for KLR Investment Advisors, LLC . Further responsibilities include acting as the firm’s thought leader for economic, capital markets and investment related commentary.

Responsibilities:

• Actively manages the firm’s model strategies
• Formulates, implements, and maintains the firm’s overall investment philosophy and resulting strategy
• Leads the ongoing due diligence effort on existing and new investment managers
• Participates in the firms marketing strategies including attending networking events, presenting seminars and webinars, and other forms of marketing as required
• Presents investment due diligence, model updates, market analysis, and industry trend reporting to the Investment Advisory Committee
• Coordinates the delivery of model strategy updates
• Creates and presents monthly and ad hoc capital market updates and investment related commentary to internal partners and end clients
• Provides new business support to firm advisors and internal partners
• Partners with internal colleagues in support of various strategic initiatives
• Attends industry due diligence and networking events to enhance product and industry knowledge
• Delivers a consistent message which supports the firm’s brand
• Maintains a high-level relationship with all investment management partners

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 8-10 years related experience, preferable with a SEC registered Investment Advisor
• Microsoft Office product proficiency, including Word and Excel
• Strong verbal and writen communication skills
• CFP® or Series 65 required within 6 months of hire
• Envestnet and Morningstar Direct experience preferred
• Degree in Finance or Economics, MBA preferred
• Experience managing multi asset model portfolios, including mutual funds, ETF’s, and separately managed accounts
• CFA Designation Preferred
• Proven team player with an ability to make difficult decisions with conviction
