Jettison is representing a national plaintiffs’ firm seeking a Legal Investigator who is motivated to help those injured as a result of corporate misconduct.

Responsibilities:

• Locate and interview witnesses
• Extensive research and memorandum writing
• Extensive travel to clients’ and potential witnesses’ homes, including frequent multi-night and short notice travel
• Investigate clients’ work history and work sites to determine product and exposure and how they correlate to the work function
• Assisting with trial responsibilities, including coordinating witness schedules and assisting with jury selection
• Attend and perform document reviews to identify relevant and useful documents
• Interviewing clients about their work history and exposure to asbestos

Qualifications:

• Prior experience traveling frequently for business
• Ability to work under pressure due to time and content sensitive deadlines
• Commitment to taking initiative with learning new information quickly, both in and out of training
• Self-motivated with the ability to process large amounts of information quickly and efficiently
• Minimum of high-school diploma, some college or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior work experience in construction, automotive, industrial, shipbuilding, electrical, or similar trade profession is a plus!
• Experience with legal research and interview skills and techniques
• Ability to put clients at ease and establish a trusting and comfortable relationship
