Position Description

The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for setting up and managing the inventory control process at our new factory at Beech Bottom, WV. The individual will provide support to our production and manufacturing by efficiently moving inventory and materials across the site. They will also work closely with different teams including production control, assembly lines, and shipping teams to ensure that overall operations run smoothly. We are looking for a detail oriented and process driven individual to manage inventory levels, track inventory movements, ensure accuracy of inventory records, and assist with supply chain management.

What You'll "Mostly" Do

  • Analyze inventory reports and make recommendations for optimizing inventory levels
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Perform heavily physical tasks that may include lifting up to 60lbs
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in inventory management
  • Work closely with purchasing and production teams to coordinate inventory replenishment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our ERP system
  • Develop and maintain inventory control policies and procedures
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to safety procedures and company policies at all times
  • Assist with supply chain management as needed
  • Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply

What We Look For First:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency and experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized
