Overview
We are looking for a motivated Inventory Clerk who is responsible for providing the physical and clerical services necessary to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of inventory operations. The inventory clerk works closely with warehouse personnel and sales associates. This position will monitor and process incoming and outgoing inventory and maintain inventory records as necessary. We are looking for a driven individual that is seeking to broaden their skills over time with a growing company. We promote a team environment, so you'll work with fellow team members along with other departments throughout our company.
Responsibilities

• Answer inventory control inquiries in a timely matter.
• Maintain and update inventory records and relevant files.
• Receive in inventory in ERP system and provide information for shipments and inventory.
• Assist with transfer orders.
• Seek involvement in continuous improvement activities and process to support company progress on safety, quality, customer service, and cost goals.
• Monitor inventory activity and movements.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Gather and prepare importing / exporting records, when required.
• Assist with related projects, as required.
• Perform physical inventory counts when necessary.
• Always comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient computer and calculator skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• ERP or database experience and working knowledge of spreadsheet software a plus
• Skilled in fostering a successful and accountable work environment.
• Ability to sort, count, and verify numbers.
• Ability to communicate positively and effectively.
• Ability to perform satisfactorily in a fast-paced work environment.
