About GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC GLOVIS EV Logistics America, is an integrated logistics company located in Savannah, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). GLOVIS EV Logistics America was established on October 6, 2022. Department: Consolidation Center/Operations Reports to: Logistics Operations Manager Responsibilities for Inventory Assistant Manager : Develop, manage, and improve all inventory processes including cycle counts and the creation, training, and enforcement of departmental SOP's, etc. to support operational flow for the mass production of new vehicles Report on daily activities/problems/solutions etc. Initiate continuous improvement activities to remove process barriers, reduce waste and improve efficiency Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory, collaborating with others as needed to drive robust corrective actions to mitigate recurrence. Ensure all inventory hold locations are appropriately allocated and visually identified (label, location) Analyze data and identify trends that negatively impacted inventory accuracy and contribute to scrap loss (damages), implementing appropriate measures to address and mitigate these issues. Develop, manage, and report out inventory KPI's to the leadership team on a weekly, /monthly basis. Manage inventory to ensure accuracy, such as escalation of ERP adjustments recommended, the creation and management of effective operational processes, and utilizing data to support continuous improvement in accuracy and product flow. Hire, train and provide development opportunities for staff Comply with and promote safety in the workplace, including attendance at safety meetings as well as conducting safety meetings when necessary Qualifications for Inventory Assistant Manager: Bachelor's Degree Preferred 5 years of inventory management experience leading a department in a large, high volume, fast paced operations environment Prior experience in staff development including training, coaching, and mentoring Automotive experience preferred Proven record of researching inventory discrepancies with experience in implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Lean/Continuous Improvement experience in product/process flow and optimization of warehouse layout Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Excellent organizational and planning skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary Comfortable sitting for long periods of time while working on tasks Pay and Benefits : 401(k) and 401(K) Matching Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Paid Time Off Work Location : Savannah, GA
