The Internal Audit Manager is seen as business consultant and manages the execution of financial, operational, risk-based, corporate governance, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits for Zebra's domestic and international operations. Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit and interacting with the VP, Internal Audit and others in the Internal Audit Management team, the Internal Audit Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of Senior/Staff level resources.


Responsibilities:
  • Partners with the Internal Audit Analytics Manager in the department’s development of leading-class continuous auditing techniques and data analytics
  • Innovates and leverages well-rounded business acumen to assess (and coach others on assessing) emerging risk areas across Zebra’s global operations and advise on leading industry practices and process maturity
  • Engages in ERM activities to evaluate the top strategic, operational, reporting, and compliance risks and consult with management on progress towards addressing these risks.
  • Leads in the scheduling / planning and oversees the execution of financial, operational, and compliance / governance Internal Audit projects and communicates value-driven recommendations to business leaders; Will oversee highly complex Internal Audit projects
  • Manages department key performance metrics and actively engage in the continuous improvement of the Internal Audit department
  • Provides Senior and Staff Auditors with appropriate guidance and coaching on career development during the course of project activities
  • Leads the execution of US Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) legislation compliance auditing, while advising business leaders on optimal control structure and serving as the primary connection point for the SOX Project Management Office and external auditors
  • Monitors and reports on the status of management-owned action plans from previous audits

Qualifications:


Minimum Qualifications

  • Work in Lincolnshire, IL facility
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience (i.e., auditing, consulting, finance/operations, IT/security), including at least four years of experience with auditing
  • Candidates with a background in public accounting or consulting may be considered with 5 + years of experience in that background
  • Strong creative and entrepreneurial spirit; Capable of critical thinking and solving problems.
  • Command over core business processes (i.e., Accounting, Financial Reporting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Sales, Accounts Receivable & Credit, Fixed Assets, Payroll, etc.)
  • Strong judgment and commitment to driving results.
  • Basic knowledge of IT and security technologies
  • Works effectively in an agile and team-based setting, focused on motivating and teaching staff, and engaging in diverse thought.
  • Experience with project management, managing competing priorities and managing to tight timelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Able to communicate and influence at various levels
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related major (i.e., Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, etc.)
  • Ability to travel 25% including international travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of IIA methodology and standards
  • Certifications in relevant areas (i.e., CIA, CISA or other certification) or advanced degree
  • Experience as a people manager is strongly desired

Salary:
USD 114800.00 - USD 172200.00 Yearly


Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
