Intern - Information Technologies (It) - Developers, Business Analysis, Security Opportunities - Summer 2023

HNI Corporation, an industry leader in office furniture design and manufacturing, is seeking Information Technology (IT) Interns to join our team in Muscatine, IA during Summer 2023!
HNI's IT summer internship program is a great opportunity for first-hand experience in your IT field of interest. You'll work on one or more projects that create value for our business partners. HNI's large, paid internship program includes exposure to leadership, professional development opportunities (Lunch and Learns, training, skill building workshops), support through a mentor relationship, volunteering, and social events! Company-paid apartment-style housing may also be available, based on student's geographic need and current housing capacity.
Our interns are a key source of future talent for entry-level IT careers.
Internship positions may be in disciplines such as:

• Database Administration
• Workplace Technologies
• Business Analysis
• Information Security
• IT Service Management & Process
• Application Development & Support
• Infrastructure Operations & Support

What it takes:

• Able to develop alternative solutions and work well in individual and group problem solving situations
• Strong technical acumen and desire for a career in IT
• Currently a Sophomore- or Junior-level college student with a major in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Self-starter with high personal motivation and desire to take initiative and ownership
• Relevant work experience / internships / related activities (tutor, business fraternity, etc) preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Minimum 2.8 GPA; 3.0 preferred
