Duties


In this position, you will serve as a technical authoritative expert in CM, supporting the CBP Collection Management (CM) process by performing various intelligence assignments/duties relating to CM - both Collection Requirements Management (CRM) and Collection Operations Management (COM) - within the CBP IE. You will provide CBP operators and analysts with CM support and collection reporting tailored to their needs. You will be responsible for researching, validating, submitting, and modifying all-source intelligence collection requirements; the development of collection strategies, postures, and plans; and monitoring the satisfaction of collection requirements in one or more of a variety of subject matter areas, including Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT). This position starts at a salary of $98,496.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $128,043.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $128,043.00 (GS-13 Step 10). Major duties include, but are not limited: Serving as a technical authoritative expert in Collection Management (CM). Researching, validating, submitting, and modifying all-source intelligence collection requirements. Developing collection strategies, postures, and plans; and monitoring the satisfaction of collection requirements in one or more of a variety of subject matter areas. Leading and facilitating essential elements of Information, development, writing collection requirements, prioritizing collection requirements, and developing collection strategies, postures and/or plans according to established prioritization schemes. Leading, developing, and managing collection plans designed to most effectively and efficiently utilize collection assets and resources to address validated intelligence requirements.
