Skills and Experience:

Excellent opportunity for an Instrumentation & Control Engineer or Designer with 5 plus years of experience. Qualified individuals need to be able to develop control drawings including P&ID’s, loop sheets, PLC point to point diagrams, interconnection diagrams, instrument location plans, cable schedules, instrument indexes, and control panel layouts. This person also needs to perform instrument calculations and develop device specifications for instrumentation and control equipment.

We need someone who has worked for an Engineering, Design or Construction company and whose been contracted to travel to their clients' facilities, paper plants, mills, factories, etc. to help them troubleshoot problems with their equipment, etc.

Requirements:

oAutoCAD is a plus.

oA background in the heavy industrial manufacturing is preferred.

oWork would be based out of the Birmingham, AL office with site travel from time to time.

oOur client performs heavy construction and building work throughout the United States and relocation is sometimes required for continuous employment opportunities.
