Instrument Technician Jobs

We are looking to add an Instrument Technician to our maintenance team to perform skilled work in the diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of specialized and complex equipment, electronic and pneumatic instrumentation, and controls used in wastewater treatment plants including tertiary treatment units and lift stations.

The Sanitary Sewer Collection System includes over 1,176 MILES OF SANITARY SEWER PIPE which carries wastewater to two award-winning treatment facilities.

The Southwest Wastewater Treatment Plant treats an average of 35 MILLION GALLONS OF WASTEWATER PER DAY and discharges into Wilson's Creek.

The Northwest Wastewater Treatment Plant treats an average of 9.5 MILLION GALLONS OF WASTEWATER PER DAY and discharges into the Little Sac River.

Experience, Education, and Training

• Three years of experience in maintenance, repair, and servicing specialized and complex industrial and manufacturing equipment including electronic and pneumatic instrumentation;
• College-level courses or equivalent with an emphasis in electronics may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

• Must possess a valid Driver's license.
