At Regions, the Innovation and Strategy Analyst supports the development and execution of the enterprise strategy and initiatives that have potential impact to people, processes, and technology across Technology, Operations, and Data.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Performs analysis on strategic initiatives directed by Technology, Operations, and Data leadership
  • Supports dashboards and communications development to articulate the transformation trajectory
  • Facilitates updates for external investor communications; KPIs across all of Operations, Technology and Data; and progress against the overall strategic plan for Operations, Technology, and Data
  • Utilizes data to objectively measure effectiveness of Technology, Operations, and Data strategic programs
  • Conducts Organizational Change Management best practices, concepts, and impact analysis to different teams involved large scale programs
  • Supports technology product innovation with proofs of concept and associated cost/benefit analysis to articulate potential opportunities for operational efficiency, revenue, or customer experience improvements
  • Performs analysis on key technology and operations strategies to measure maturity with KPIs
  • Facilitates product innovation efforts by developing plans, schedules and milestones with stakeholders
  • Triangulates data into management insights for an executive audience
  • Supports an agile process focused on facilitating ideation, analyzing risk, benefit, and cost, and driving positive ROI projects to mobilization
  • Performs data wrangling and data analysis on key technology strategies
  • Performs external research on industry trends and innovation within Banking, Technology, Data, and Operations
  • Supports new technology delivery and business transformation initiatives from conception to execution readiness
  • Performs data visualization for key technology concepts, initiatives, and strategies
  • Constructs Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Operations and Technology-wide, and Regions-wide communications for Technology, Operations, and Data
  • Supports value capture of strategic initiatives throughout the life of strategic initiatives (e.g. maturity model with supporting key performance indicators (KPIs)


This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.


Requirements


  • Experience with SDLC, software, and data
  • Familiarity or working knowledge of project management and Agile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or related degree
  • Three (3) years of experience in product management, technology consulting, strategy development, software development, data analysis / visualization, and/or innovation

  • Ability to design and develop quick automation solutions leveraging low code platforms

  • Strong research and analysis skills
  • Experience in presenting at various levels of the organization
  • Ability to drive tangible value and insights out of unstructured data
  • Experience in development of business cases and value tracking

  • Advanced business writing skills
  • Experience in technology product management
  • Ability to mobilize strategy into execution
  • Advanced data analysis skills and MS Power BI
  • Experience in low code development and automation

  • Experience in Technology concepts (e.g. Cloud, Software Development Lifecycle/SDLC)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills


This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.


This role can work remote within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building.
