Job Description

Hello friend! Wholesome Goods is looking for an individual with impressive legal discourse who loves to communicate with multiple departments on legal matters and provide insight into any sort of judicial jargon that may come their way. Does this sound like you?

Well, you are in luck, because Wholesome Goods needs a bona fide, card-carrying, Legal Counsel to work in house with our various marketing and operational divisions to provide the best judgement on all legal matters that come our way.

As our new In-House Legal Counsel you would be dealing with international, trade, and copywrite law, along with helping us develop the legal framework for our international brands.

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Has 4+ years of experience in legal field of corporate law or as an in-house counsel at another high growth startup – preferably in DTC or Ecommerce
  • Can draft, edit, and review like nobody's business, and loves spending time with pen and paper - managing a variety of contractual agreements ranging from NDAs to HR documentation to marketing agreements
  • Top-tier negotiation and mediation skills
  • Acts as a rapport builder and collaborate with outside legal entities as well as provide legal counsel to our fabulous HR department
  • Stands as a stalwart overseer of all legal challenges related to the company's brand and intellectual property portfolio
  • Share exceptional advice and guidance on a wide variety of legal needs such as labeling compliance, advertising, general business contracts.
  • And can practice law in the state of Florida
  • Moves as a conscientious coordinator who can seek outside counsel on matters that may require deep subject-specific expertise
  • Provides superstar quality legal counsel to companies' departments and corporate committees.


Bonus points if you:

  • Are familiar with UK/EU law & international law
  • Like dogs. (Yes, we’re serious. There are dogs in the office every now and then.)
  • Have a passion for working with high growth companies to help expand and develop a legal team.
  • Have experience in Google Suites and Google Analytics systems.
