Title:Infrastructure Engineer

Location : Remote but has to reside in one of the states below ( Texas , Oklahoma , Arkansas,Louisiana , Arizona)

Duration: Contract to Hire

Visa : GC & USC

Ideal Candidate:

• Infrastructure Engineer that has implemented an IT Asset Management Solution (ex. ServiceNow, Reftab, SolarWinds Web Help Desk, BMC Track-It, etc.)

Requirements:

·Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three to five years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.

·Three years of Information Technology Architecture experience required.

·Strong understanding of all aspects of enterprise technologies including network, infrastructure, applications, security, and cloud technologies.

·Experience in implementing IT Asset Management Software/Solutions (i.e., ServiceNow, SolarWinds Web Help Desk, BMC Track-It, etc.)

·Extensive experience in analysis, technical design, documentation, and implementation of information systems.

·Passionate about emerging technologies.

·Understanding of DevOps practices

·Modeling and graphical representations and abstractions.

·Ability to prepare project reports, presentations, and related correspondence.

·Ability to accurately estimate project planning and completion times.

·Ability to understand technical ramifications of recommendations and decisions.

·Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.

·Ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization.

·Ability to show information in presentation or diagram form.

·Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

·Ability to lead and motivate others.

·Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.

Job Summary:

Provides technical leadership and direction for Information Technology (IT) projects.Utilizes advanced knowledge of systems, technologies, and processes to support the delivery of timely, quality IT solutions to the business.Supports Project Managers in the development and coordination of project roadmaps to create the overall technical vision for the solution to a business problem.Collaborate with appropriate partners to evaluate and plan the adoption of new technologies including implementing proof of concepts.

Responsibilities:

·Works with Enterprise Architecture team on defining, documenting, and implementation of various artifacts to support the enterprise architecture framework and direction.Contributes to enterprise guidelines, standards and principles as precedents are discovered and adopted.

·Collects requirements, evaluate systems, and coordinate team initiatives relating to IT solutions to resolve business challenges.

·Creates solution prototypes and implementing proof of concepts.

·Drives the identification, development and implementation of new technologies and opportunities to optimize IT systems

·Identifies and recommends appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership

·Works with business and technology subject matter experts to derive end-to-end solutions that provide value to the enterprise and these solutions comply with standards and guidelines set forth by Enterprise Architecture

·Collaborates with other parts of IT to ensure a thorough understanding of the proposed architecture; must be willing to accept and factor-in feedback

·Participates in design reviews to ensure traceability of the design to the proposed solution architecture.

·Ensures projects solution architecture is documented using the templates, Architect tooling and conforms to standards.

·Understands the appropriate technologies to support the solution architecture.

·Possesses advanced technical, industry and corporate knowledge to effectively support complex IT projects that may have not been addressed within the organization previously.

·Supports Project Managers in the effective implementation of systems solutions for internal business partners. Effectively communicates technical direction and solutions with project team and internal business partners.

·May interact with other internal and external technical leaders. Enlists assistance and support from other technical specialists, as the project requires.

·Addresses technology issues and analyzes business problems as they relate to the achievement of project objectives.

·Works to maintain an understanding of emerging technologies necessary to provide the highest quality service to the organization.

·Provides thought leadership in support of the design, build and deployment of IT functionality including process road mapping.

·Provides guidance and creates standards around adopting new technologies (ie prem vs cloud).
