Information Technology Specialist Jobs

Selby Jennings is partnering directly with a boutique insurance firm who has boots on the ground in the Greater Lawton Oklahoma Region. They are only looking for local candidates, so no relocation assistance will be offered at this time.

Right now, they're seeking out a skilled IT Technician with 2-7 years of experience who will ultimately serve as a long-term replacement for one of their Senior IT Technicians as they simultaneously migrate a few platforms to the cloud.

Some critical responsibilities would include:

1) Provide help desk to staff - PC, Windows, Office

2) Work with their internal Senior IT Technician and any 3rd parties to implement technology upgrades across the enterprise

3) Fully understand interfaces with Stoneagle and QL

4) Learn the operations of AS400 - backup and restore only. They will eventually move this to a virtual server.

5) Identify other tech upgrades

6) Create a plan for replacement of obsolescent equip

7) Work to set up commas with their 3rd party TPA

8) Maintain software updates

At its core, the role supports 3rd party software the firm runs so the ideal candidate needs to learn that while supporting the PC's. Coding would be light Powershell for the purposes of creating crystal reports in SQL.

Ideally 4-5 days per week in their Lawton, OK office and salary would be determined off of YOE.
