Job Summary

The Director of Program Management is responsible for the overall management, strategy, and execution of City Brewery’s Program Management. Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this position will lead the Program Management team across cross functional teams and programs. Using a customer service focus and a goal-oriented, project-based approach, the Director of Program Management will collaborate with business leaders across all functions to determine and fulfill technology and system needs.


Duties and Responsibilities

The Director of Program Management will play an integral role supporting City Brewery’s Digital Transformation plans across programs like Industry 4.0 (Operations Technology/Manufacturing Execution/Maintenance), Employee Experience and Collaboration, Business Applications, Cyber and Platform Modernization. They will work with directly with executives, IT teams, and end users to enable successful program management with a forward approach to change management ensuring success and adoption.


Responsibilities also include:

  • Evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans as needed
  • Creates, delivers, and maintains an appropriate communication plan through project life cycle
  • Defining and planning all strategic and tactical aspects of projects/programs
  • Managing full life cycle of project management from initiation through deployment using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Acts as the voice of the employee in change management activities, enabling end user impact visibility
  • Liaises with vendors and contractors
  • Aligns all deliverables with applicable scope, timeline, and budget
  • Tracks milestones and incurred expenses to plan
  • Schedules roles and resources as appropriate for each project phase


Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • PMP or CPM certification, a plus
  • Proficiency with project management tools
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies (Scrum, Agile, Waterfall)
  • Bachelor’s degree with focus in Information Technology or related business experience
  • Experience with process mapping and business improvement methodologies (i.e. Six Sigma/SIPOC)
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting Information Security or Data Protection/Security projects, a plus
  • Demonstrated delivery of multifaceted IT programs across different technology areas like infrastructure, cyber, business application, or collaboration
