Job Description

Summary
We are looking for a dependable, caring, and fun-loving Teacher's Aide for our Infant/Toddler rooms. Our classrooms range from 6 weeks - 18 months (Infant Room) and 18 months to 3 years (Toddler Room).
The Teacher's Aide is responsible for providing a safe environment and assisting the Lead Teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program.
Our center is a close-knit family, we are looking to add a dedicated teacher to our family. This is a full-time position.
Duties
The Teacher's Aide is responsible for:
Assist the Lead Teacher in the development and implementation of a developmentally appropriate program for young children.
Supervise children - Ensure that children are supervised at all times during indoor and outdoor activities and that ratios are maintained.
Help with the established routines, provide positive guidance and observe the children.
Communicate with families about their child's day and needs on a daily basis.
Communicate and collaborate with teacher and/or administrator on daily basis
Requirements
Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Associates Degree in Early Childhood or related field - Preferred
Associates Degree with 12 credits in Early Childhood.
Knowledge in child development and early education theories and practices, effective verbal and listening communication skills, flexibility, compassion, patience and nurturing.
Maintain First Aid/CPR Certification.
