Industrial/Quality Engineering Co-Op (Fall 2023 - August Start)

AS AN INDUSTRIAL/QUALITY ENGINEERING CO-OP, RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO YOU:

• Work with Production for process development and improvements
• Assess product for possible defects with RCA/data collection
• Collect data and analysis for Lean and Quality issues and opportunities
• Improve and create process documentation
• Assist Senior Engineers with various projects

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
• Undergraduate Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• Ability to work 40 hours a week during the scheduled semester

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
• Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and PC skills including Microsoft Office
• Sophomore or higher class standing
• Undergraduate Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
• Previous Co-op or Intern Experience with Emerson or another company

Flexible Work Schedule

The general working hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

About Our Location

Alliance Compressors LLC develops, manufactures, and markets one through six-ton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35,000 square feet of office space. This climate-controlled facility is the third-largest manufacturing business in the area, and offers its 600+ employees many opportunities for advancement.
