Job Summary

IMI is seeking a full-time Industrial Site Superintendent local to the Northeast GA area.

Essential Functions

The Industrial Superintendent will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a specific site project ensuring consistency with company policy, strategy, commitments, and goals.

• Ability to serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, project managers, and other employees regarding current and future projects.
• Reviews materials received at jobsite for accuracy and checks equipment for proper working conditions.
• Facilitate project team by providing direction and support.
• Analyzes and resolves work related problems.
• Coordinate & supervise piping and mechanical projects at a dedicated Industrial Site.
• Develop project plans with timelines.
• Ability to review general work requirement from customers into a prioritized plan for each crew.
• Coordinate project staff.
• Maintains time and tracks production; communicates if work schedules or crew needs to be adjusted to meet deadlines.
• Ensure all projects comply with all safety regulations.
• Provide leadership, functioning as the Quality Lead, to supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaging in laying out, fabricating, aligning, joining, installing, repairing, welding materials, rigging and maintaining of piping systems and pipe supports.
• Assist in estimating project budgets, deliverable & milestones.

Education And Experience

• Computer experience, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.
• Proven experience in supervisory skills and a commitment to industrial safety.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 3-5 years of experience at a Superintendent level.
• NCCER or AWS certification preferred or completion of a related program through an accredited technical school.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Must be able to remain in a seated position for long periods of time.
• Manual dexterity needed for repetitive tasks and operating standard operating equipment.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors including times of inclement weather.
• Stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objects.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
