Parallel Employment Group in partnership with an area warehouse and logistics organization are seeking qualified Maintenance Technician.
Direct Hire - 1st shift.
Salary is based on experience - COMPETITIVE PAY OFFERED.
Must be able to travel between Buffalo area location and Erie, PA on occasion (no overnight travel).
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery, equipment and other industrial systems. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with the team to promote a functional and committed culture.

Maintenance Technician:

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of machinery, equipment and other industrial systems. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with the team to promote a functional and committed culture.
Responsibilities
Maintenance Technician:
- Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
- Consults blueprints or building plans to identify the best solution to resolve systems or equipment issues.
- Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility.
- Obtains services of outside contractors when repairs require specialized training.
- Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
- Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility’s equipment and systems.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a related field preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals.
- Mechanic knowledge of ARPAC and Douglas repack machinery
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, and electrical.
- ARPAC Certified preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a warehouse setting.
- Certified HVAC preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Automation Experience preferred.
