Independent Sales Representative Jobs

CRAIC Technologies is a scientific instrument manufacturing company specializing in UV-visible-NIR microscopy and microspectroscopy capital equipment. Applications range from forensic analysis to thin film thickness measurements to pharmaceuticals to coal and steel. Currently, our customers are government, universities, and industrial laboratories. We are looking to expand into other scientific, industrial and medical markets and are looking for independent sales representatives to cover Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, and Nevada. A. Key Responsibilities:

• Present full CRAIC product line with emphasis on features and benefits
• Post-sales follow up
• Help put together seminars for interested prospects in respective territory
• Attend customer product installations
• Follow-up on any leads and prospects given
• Must be able to self-generate leads and follow through with sales
• Must regularly visit customers and prospects in territories
• Face-to-face customer meetings and sales assistance
• Must be up-to-date on current research situations, and situations affecting related markets to our products

B. Requirements :

• Must be familiar with capital equipment sales and processes for capital equipment sales
• Is highly self-motivated and responsible
• Must be able to travel
• Must have a good understanding of different types of scientific research
• Must have a good understanding of optical microscopy and spectroscopy
• Must have proven track record for sales
• Must have a BS degree in a science or engineering field. Master or Ph.D. degree preferred
