Independent Contractor - Medical Courier

Courier Express provides shipping solutions across the New England area, specializing in expedited, same-day delivery. We are looking for independent contractors who are reliable, responsible, and have excellent communication skills to provide prompt, courteous and professional courier service.

Responsibilities

• Following detailed instructions
• Completing various deliveries (Medical or non-medical) in the New Haven, CT area keeping safety as priority
• Delivering Stats or routed deliveries (10-35+ stops each day)
• Communicating with our dispatch team and customers
• Delivering to residential neighborhoods that may include apartment complexes, condos, townhomes in diverse locations

Requirements

• Must provide your own GPS and mobile phone
• Must meet all requirements of our insurance provider
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Must provide your own reliable car with proper credentials
• Must pass drug/background screen and have clean driving record
• Great communication skills
• Must be well organized
• Should have or be willing to secure Auto Liability Insurance limits of $100k per person/$300k per accident (MA, part 5)
• Must have a decent amount of weekday availability (ON-CALL)
• Have basic operational knowledge of smart devices

NOTE: Pay for these jobs are calculated by the mile & stop = $60 - $ 200 daily! The more you’re available, the more you can make!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $200.00 per day

Schedule:

• Weekends as needed
• Monday to Friday
• Day shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
