Incident Analyst Jobs

We are currently hiring a Lead Incident Response Engineer for one of our esteemed clients. As the Lead Incident Response Engineer, you will be responsible for managing their incident response team, handling security incidents, and enhancing their incident response capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Utilize MSSP platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Splunk) for threat detection and analysis.
• Lead and manage the incident response team, providing guidance and technical expertise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate incident response efforts.
• Develop and implement incident response strategies, processes, and procedures.
• Provide regular reports and updates on incident response activities and metrics.
• Oversee the handling and response to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Conduct incident response readiness assessments and exercises.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in incident response and cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Understanding of industry regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and forensic tools.
• Proven experience as an incident response engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with experience leading incident response teams.
• Deep knowledge of network security, system vulnerabilities, and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with MSSP platforms and tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Splunk).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
