Position: ICU Registered Nurse

Location(s): multiple sites in Louisiana – Baton Rouge, Monroe, Shreveport, Slidell

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 30-day minimum commitment

Shifts: 5 days on, 2 days off; Candidate must be flexible to work either day or night shift

About Rapid Response Relief:

AMI Covid-19 rapid response includes emergency response work, and we need consultants to be flexible with the ever-changing conditions of this emergency-oriented work. The ICU RN will work on a team with other medical professionals. This position requires flexibility to deploy within a 48-hour notice and travel. Accommodation and travel will be provided.

About the Position:

As an ICU RN you must be familiar with vasoactive drips, proning patients, and cardiac monitoring. Proficient in emergency medical responses. Our ICUs in Louisiana are a 2:1 ratio with all COVID positive patients. We use PPE that is supplied by the hospital.

You will not be guaranteed a certain shift. You will be brought on as a part of a medical team to provide superb patient care, therefore will be staffed to fit the needs of the units. Once a shift has been assigned you will stay on that shift. Your shift will be 12 hours.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain nursing standards while providing care to patients with COVID-19 and those exposed to COVID-19
• Assessing, monitoring, and caring for Covid positive patients
• Follow all infectious disease protocols and maintain the standards set by the current team onsite

Qualifications:

• Must be U.S. based
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
• Active ACLS or CCRN certification
• Minimum of one year ICU / critical care experience in a hospital setting
• Bachelor’s degree and an active license to practice nursing
• Minimum of one year Nursing experience in a hospital setting in addition to
