Ice Cream Truck Operations Supervisor

As our Ice Cream Truck Operations Supervisor, you are the captain of our Cookie Truck, day or night! WHAT WILL I DO AS AN ICE CREAM TRUCK OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR?

• Drive the truck to desired event locations on days needed into the city of Philadelphia
• Learn & later teach the preparation / breakdown of the truck for all planned special events
• Manage cash handling and deposits
• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all of our guests throughout their experience during special events
• This role will also serve as a flex component to the local Exton bakery store as either a delivery driver or cookie crew member when not needed on the truck
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for window cashiering, packaging, and basic cleaning procedure while leading the truck cookie crew team
• Provide a safe, clean, working environment for our guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices
• Support and lead while working alongside the Cookie Crew
• Act as the leader of the truck by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the truck team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in the training and coaching of truck team members

DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of working experience in a customer service focused role
• Basic truck mechanical skills are a bonus
• Ability to lead-by-example and motivate others
• Outgoing/friendly/patient
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Detail focused and results-oriented
• Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills
• Valid Driver’s License and have the ability to drive our large food truck to various destinations throughout the Greater Philadelphia area
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Point of Sales systems experience
