Hyundai Parts Counterperson Jobs

Pay: $22-$26 DOE

As a Parts Counterperson, you’re one of the most important team members at Norm Reeves Hyundai. You’re responsible for selling parts to guests over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone and online. You’ll provide an exceptional guest experience by organizing back counter inventory, keeping current on new products and product updates and communicating with our internal team, external vendors and guests in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.

Your work will ensure guests leave 100% satisfied with their Norm Reeves Hyundai experience. This role is a great entry point to Norm Reeves for a car enthusiast who thrives on finding solutions to problems and has some prior experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of parts sales.

What You’ll Do:

• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
• Provide an excellent experience by pulling and filling orders, and recommending additional needed parts to guests
• Keep inventory organized and replenished at all times
• Receive payment from guests or obtains credit authorization
• Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
• Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials and place emergency orders when required

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent follow up skills, frequently communicating inventory and availability of parts
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Full-time availability. You’ll also need to be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent organizational skills
• A professional appearance and work ethic
• Previous parts sales experience and the desire to continuously learn more
