HVAC Project Sales Representative - Commercial HVAC

Role
As an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Sales Representative, you will promote the sale of solution-based HVAC retrofits and maintenance programs to Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional customers throughout the Delray Beach/West Palm/Ft. Lauderdale markets.
The successful individual will work with new customers to identify, promote and quote HVAC Projects/Retrofits, and Maintenance agreements that reduce energy consumption, improve operational reliability, and extend the asset life cycle of customers’ HVAC equipment. S/he is also responsible for developing tactical business plans that identify and capitalize on local business opportunities in the market.
The ideal candidate will know and understand commercial HVAC systems and should have a demonstrated track record in cold calling, identifying viable markets, and closing deals for commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts. In addition, the successful candidate must be highly motivated and passionate about relationship building and gaining new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Work with leadership to analyze building HVAC and control systems to develop technical solutions and maintenance programs for new customers
- Generate proposals for HVAC maintenance contracts/service repairs and retrofit
- Maintains a thorough understanding of costs associated with owning, operating, and maintaining a building’s HVAC system and utilizes this knowledge to review those costs with prospects in the marketplace
- Prepare and conduct sales presentations to customers
- Develop additional technical skills through ongoing training and education
Compensation & Location
This position will be based out of Greater Philadelphia, PA. This is a full-time position that is available for immediate hire. A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate, including a base salary, aggressive commission plan, monthly auto allowance, and comprehensive benefits.
