Job Description
F.H. Furr is hiring motivated individuals looking to get their start in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning field, specifically in the Installation Department. This is a fully paid Install Apprentice program. Helpers will make between $40,000-$60,000+ per year.


Who/What Are We Looking For?


We are looking for individuals who are mechanically inclined, dependable, and ready to learn the HVAC trade. Our training program will introduce you to the HVAC field and provide you with hands-on experience training with skilled technicians in the field. Our HVAC Install training will teach candidates how to


  • Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment
  • Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing
  • Install sheet metal and flex duct systems in homes
  • Install, start-up and operate HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications
  • Learn basic electricity as it pertains to HVAC units
