Job Description

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to provide strategic and tactical support for assigned client groups leading various and diverse HR initiatives within the organization. We are looking for someone who is organized, energized by challenges, and ready to roll up their sleeves to get work done. This individual must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities with a high degree of attention to detail, apply independent judgment, and proactively problem solve and identify (or better yet anticipate) opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes positions and organizational design and makes recommendations based on talent capabilities. Leads bi-annual talent planning efforts.
  • Supports the administration of company-wide surveys and performance review cycles
  • Reviews and analyzes people-related data for assigned business groups, presents results, and recommends opportunities that positively influence organizational behaviors and outcomes. Regularly audits and assesses employee data to ensure accuracy.
  • Leads the development and application of assigned business groups’ talent management and succession-planning initiatives. Leverages best in class methodologies to influence a high performing culture.
  • Manages employee relations issues, including conducting investigations
  • Supports HR processing of personnel actions for assigned employee groups, including compensation changes, promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, terminations, etc.
  • Partners with Recruiting to evaluate role availability, ensuring a positive inflow of best in class talent
  • Provides leadership coaching and expertise to assigned business groups on ways to maximize the utilization of talent
  • Assists with ad-hoc people operations projects
  • Conducts evaluations of employee compensation and internal equity reviews making recommendations for total compensation packages for new hires and existing employees
  • Develops and delivers leadership programs that drive employee engagement
  • Partners with the People Ops team to ensure overall HR strategy, systems and policy maintenance across the organization, including the employee handbook


Qualifications

  • Professional experience in other HR areas including payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, and other functions highly preferred
  • Five years of professional Human Resources experience (at least 3 years of HR Business Partner experience preferred)
  • Professional experience supporting a retail brand and/or within the healthcare industry preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience
