The hourly wage for this position is $17.50.

Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin will feature 246 guestrooms, 3,000 sq ft. of dedicated meeting space, along with two exciting F&B concepts including an 8th floor rooftop bar. Guestrooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering unmatched views of the Texas Capitol, UT Stadium, and growing Austin skyline. The 31st floor is the home of the Artist’s Residence, a 1,400sq ft suite and event space with an outdoor terrace. The hotel’s boho-chic residential design will reflect Austin’s rich history in music and arts, with the commons areas showcasing diverse local artists and guestrooms featuring iconic images from the historic neighboring Paramount Theatre.

The Role

The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position

• Must be able to identify written numbers.
• Must be comfortable making basic conversation with guests.
• Previous hotel cleaning experience preferred.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
