Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant Jobs

BSG is the premiere leader in contracted housekeeping, laundry, and dietary services to medical and long term health care facilities. We are looking for a Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant.

The Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant's role is to meet customer and client satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by BSG Maintenance location based on client requirements and business needs.

• No Experience Required

Housekeeping

• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, bathrooms & resident living/dining areas.
• Maintain a professional relationship with co-workers & other staff.
• Must be trustworthy & adhere to confidentiality concerning residents' health conditions.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Comply with the Residents' Rights and Community Policies and Procedures.
• Trash disposal, mopping & emptying wastebaskets.

Laundry

• Comply with patient rights and hospital policies/procedures.
• Ensure collected laundry is ready for pick-up to the laundry processing center.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Audit laundry when returned from the laundry distribution center.
• Collect, support, and distribute laundry throughout the facility

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Adaptability to perform a variety of duties and repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility & ability to adapt to changing needs each day.
• Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor, and other employees.
• Must be prompt and adhere to scheduled hours.
