We are a very active modern and not for profit senior living community conveniently located in Castro Valley. We are in search of servant leaders with the desire to make a positive impact on the vulnerable residents that live within our community.

Position available for a Full Time Housekeeper must be available to work Weekends.

Starting pay $17.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour

We are a 24/7 facility therefore one must be able to work weekends and holidays as required. All applicants are required to complete and pass a drug screening, physical exam with tuberculosis (TB) skin test, and criminal clearance through FBI and Department of Justice. The background search includes minor misdemeanors and DUIs.

Our dedicated team takes the health and safety of all of our employees and residents very seriously through the protocols weve implemented to prevent or reduce transmission of Covid-19. The Department of Public Health requires employees working in the Skilled Nursing Department to be fully vaccinated with booster however bona fide religious or medical exemptions are accepted (will be required to do Covid-19 testing twice a week.) If working in the Assisted Living Department and not fully vaccinated, you will need to be tested once weekly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Gathers and disposes of trash, cleans floors, handrails, etc.
• Cleans residents apartments, rooms and balconies on a weekly basis or daily if in the health center while also replenishing supplies
• No experience needed - will train!
• Follows infection control and safety guidelines.
• Full Job descriptions may be provided upon request.
• Removes soiled linens, makes bed, and provides clean linens weekly for all residents in IL and AL. Housekeepers working in HC follow different protocol.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS :

• Work is moderate to heavy, involving lifting of objects
• May be exposed to communicable diseases, and blood and body fluids that may contain HIV and/or HBV.
• Considerable walking, bending, reaching, and crouching.
• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and offensive odors.
