Housekeeper / Janitor Jobs

JOB SUMMARY

Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services (LCBHS) has an immediate opening for a part time housekeeper/janitor. The position will be responsible for assisting residents with cleaning duties in their personal apartments and hallways. This position will work 20 hours per week or less and does not include any benefits. Hours are extremely flexible.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, doormats and rugs as needed
• Reporting breakages, damages, and safety issues for repair
• Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies
• Dusting furniture or fixtures and report damages/need for repair
• Disposal of trash and debris
• Deep cleaning of apartments as requested
• Scrubbing and sanitizing showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, and sinks

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age to apply
• Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol screening and criminal background check

LCBHS provides services with a staff of 170 individuals from office locations in Yankton, Vermillion, and Lake Andes, South Dakota. Plans are well underway for the consolidation of the Yankton locations into one state-of-the-art facility.
