Hotel General Maintenance Jobs

The Hotel General Maintenance position entails maintaining the physical environment (inside/outside) for assigned buildings, executing work orders, performing landscaping duties, servicing the pool, and ensuring the building is clean and stocked with supplies.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the pool clean and up to safety standards.
• Conducts general upkeep (landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, appliances, drywall, windows, etc.)
• Performs maintenance of electrical systems (replacing light bulbs, ballast, outlets, switches)
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintains heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionalityProvide preventative maintenance of HVAC systems (air handler coils cleaned, replace filters and belts)
• Conducts preventative maintenance throughout property including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas.
• Performs manual repairs when necessary.
• Reports any unsafe conditions to Management.
• Surveys the building and repairs ensuring consistency with health and safety standards. Knowledge of EPA, OSHA and NEC regulations are a plus.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability
• Deadline, detail and customer service-oriented
• Minimum high school or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Previous experience in hotel maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
