York Hospital is a community short-term acute care facility located on the southern coast of Maine. As one of the last independent facilities within the state, leadership is able to maintain a high-level of care for the patients served.
Available Position:
Stella Partners is seeking an experienced and dedicated Hospitalist to work closely with our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in internal medicine, a passion for hospital-based medicine, and a strong belief that the best medical care requires a personalized approach. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenges of working as part of a medical team as well as the benefits of a comprehensive compensation package.

? Ideal Rotation: 7on-7off
? Start Date: Q3 2023
? Census: 8-11/day
Compensation (2 options):? W2 Full-Benefits:
o Salary: up to $280,000.00/year for experienced hospitalist

Hospitalist Responsibilities:
? Manage the care of hospitalized patients in consultation with specialists.
? Diagnose and treat hospital patients in accordance with the medical staff's
standards of care.
? Record and communicate patient information via EMR system
? Provide advice on pertinent medical issues.
? Create treatment plans for acute and chronic patients.
? Communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
Staffing Model (daily):o Day:
? 2 MD (12 hr)
? 7am-7pm
? 1 APP (10hr)
? 9am-7pm
o Night:
? 1 Nocturnist
? 7pm-7am
? Daily Census (Up to 31 total):
o MD: 8-11/day
o APP: 6-9/day
? Subspeciality Support: Full
? Procedures: Not required
? ICU: Closed (Open at nights w/ EICU backup)
? EMR: Paragon
? Medical Specialty: Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine w/ 3+ years' experience
