a full-service, 134-bed facility offering inpatient and outpatient care, emergency services, primary stroke center, chest pain center, labor & delivery, imaging, behavioral health, home health, rehabilitation, and a sleep center
2.5 physicians and 1 advanced practitioner team Open ICU No procedures required Call requirement 7 on/off and night call while on rotation IM or FM accepted
Fort Payne, AL, is located in the southern part of the Appalachian Mountains and has multiple protected forests and beautiful sunsets. In the Spring, there are brilliant pink and purple rhododendrons, and dense, green forests in summer. In the winter, its the only place in Alabama to ski. Waterfalls, state and national parks, ancient rivers, and Rocky Lookout Mountain provides a stunning backdrop for outdoor recreation in this natural beauty. There are plenty of things to do, such as golfing, fishing, boating, shopping, dining, nature trails, or a short drive to Chattanooga, TN.
