Xanitos is hiring full-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for 3rd shift at University Michigan Health West in Wyoming, MI.

Job Overview


The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in The Tidewell Foundation Communications Manager will set and guide the strategy for all communications and public relations messages to consistently articulate the Tidewell Foundation’s mission of support for Tidewell Hospice and the Empath Health Affiliates. The Communications Manager will draft and proofread text, articles and philanthropy appeal letters, newsletters, and publications. Reporting to the Foundation President and working closely with the Creative Services Manager and professional philanthropy advisors as the communications partner that will be the voice of the Tidewell Foundation’s Mission.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the annual communications plan in collaboration with the Foundation President.
  • Promotes and practices the mission and value, following policies and procedures of Tidewell Foundation.
  • Support content development and design direct mail distribution campaigns with donors to ensure they are consistent with the organizations’ images and messages.
  • Coordinate with peers and superiors across the organization to see stories for media and stakeholder placement.
  • Maintain timelines for all communications vehicles, showing integration with key Foundation events and benchmarks.
  • Lead the message development, writing, content, and strategy, then development of tactics and tools that encourage audience segments and lead to measurable action.
  • Track and measure the level of engagement within communication tactics over time.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors the establishment and maintenance of the Foundation’s website, social media, ad campaigns, etc. as needed, in conjunction with the Foundation President.
  • Act as the media lead and facilitate the President’s role as media spokesperson.
  • Coordinate communications support and content for print, video, and other tools before, within and after Foundation events, promoting consistent and persistent messages in conjunction with the Foundation President and Special Events Manager.
  • Own the brand standards and integrates quality graphic standards and creative solutions into all communication materials.
  • Manage the development, writing, distribution, and maintenance of print and electronic collateral, including but not limited to newsletters, brochures, annual impact report, ad campaigns, donor recognition tools, program fact sheets and case statements and the Foundation’s social media and website accounts.
  • Seek opportunities to promote the Foundation, Tidewell and the affiliates in the family of companies in the community among a range of stakeholders.
Position Requirements
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered as meeting the Educational/Professional requirements.
  • APR (Accreditation in Public Relations) credential preferred.
  • Minimum six (6) years’ experience in the philanthropy field, not-for profit and/or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, Master’s Degree (M.A.) preferred.
