Home Health Aide (Hha) / Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna): 12 Hours Weekly

Better Living Senior Assistance is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As an HHA / CNA at Better Living Senior Assistance, you will have the opportunity to provide essential home health care services to clients in Sarasota, FL. As such, all our HHA / CNA professionals are instrumental in providing peace of mind to the families we serve.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is available for:

Weekly hours: 12 hours

2 hours per day 6 days a week

Flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation assistance to the client for medical appointments and errands.
• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing.
• Plan and prepare meals in accordance with the client's dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with medication reminders and administration as directed by the supervising nurse.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided, and report any client concerns or incidents to the supervising nurse.
• Monitor client health and report changes to the supervising nurse.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be a state-certified Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
