Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Home Designer/Drafter to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing and drafting homes using AutoCad Design software. As a Home Designer/Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for residential homes. You will work closely with our team of architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure that each project is completed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Attend site visits and meetings to ensure that designs are implemented correctly
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Research and stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and building codes
• Create detailed drawings and plans for new homes and renovations
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
• Provide support to the construction team as needed
• Design and draft residential homes using AutoCad Design software
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure that each project is completed to the highest standard

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in home design and drafting using AutoCad Design software
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality designs
• Experience working with clients and understanding their needs and preferences
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of home construction and building codes
