Right at Home is looking for a successful sales professional in the Sacramento and Placer area's to take us to the next level in achieving our mission to improve the quality of life for those we serve. This position is responsible for maximizing existing referral relationships and establishing new referral relationships. We are looking for a high energy, results focused candidate committed to the growth of our organization. This individual must be a self-starter, have excellent relationship management skills, and be adaptable to the ever-changing senior care industry.

Primary goal is building new relationships with clients, their family, and the senior care communities that result in direct client referrals and new service. We need a serious go-getter who can initiate and form lasting relationships with both prospective clients interested in services and with the senior care community.

Successful candidate will excel at educating prospective clients on our services, conducting in-home assessments with seniors and/or their families to establish service, representing Rig ht at Home at community events, upholding our company values and high standards of care, and working with our team of employees, clients, and referral-based contacts in ensuring quality services.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct service inquiries and consultations as needed following the sales
  • Achieve sales objectives for the Sacramento and Placer market.
  • Responsible for researching and developing client relationships and producing referrals; performing all phases of sales process including preparation and documentation of cold calls, follow-up calls, determining referral source and client needs, recommending appropriate services and additional community resources, maintaining and nurturing existing referral accounts.
  • Achieve inquiry generation objectives for assigned service area with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share. Target accounts include hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, and other senior related referral sources.
  • Develop a database of qualified leads from referrals through face-to-face cold calling on referral providers, email, telephone, and the web
  • Work with discharge planners and families in offering Right at Home services and conducting care assessments and securing home care business
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within the assigned service area including the use of software to maintain accurate records to maximize service area potential.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the Right at Home brand. Effectively present Right at Home marketing materials and services to referral providers in a variety of forums including I :I meetings and planning, arranging and conducting in-services and formal group presentations to referral providers.

  • Be able to work evenings or weekends as required, and be on-call based on office rotation for inquiries and assessments
  • Establish good working relationships with office colleagues, clients, and the community
  • Organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly work
  • Possess strong computer skills and be proficient in Word, Excel, and social media platforms
  • Demonstrate discretion, integrity, and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Present a professional appearance and demeanor
