Job Description
Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY

Our histology technologists seek out best practice opportunities to enhance patient care by preparing tissue specimens for our Pathologists to diagnose. They will work with Pathology residents, fellows, and attendings to meet the needs of the clinicians and patients.
Qualifications:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education/Qualification
  • A Bachelor's degree in applied clinical science with a course in Histology or an equivalent of training and experience is necessary.

  • Two years experience in a Histology laboratory is desirable.

  • Certification or eligibility for certification as Histotechnologist (HTL) or Histotechnician (HT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
