POSITION TITLE: Heavy Equipment Operators

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor (#3 in ENR in 2022) looking for Heavy Equipment Operators to support Phase 1 of the University Flood Risk Reduction project in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
This project will consist of the removal and processing, recycling or disposal of stumps, logs, and debris within City Park Lake, and the hydraulic and mechanical dredging and relocation of more than 230,000 cubic yards of lake sediment within the University Lakes system to provide flood risk reduction, improved water quality, and habitat improvements around the lakes.
The daily work will include:
Operating heavy equipment to include excavators, long front excavators, pontoon excavators, front end loaders, horizontal grinders, telescoping fork lifts, water trucks, bull dozers, pumps, and generators.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum one year operating heavy equipment
Must be able to pass a drug screen
Valid Driver’s License required
SALARY/BENEFITS:
Hourly position. Extensive company-provided benefit package includes medical, dental, prescription, 401k, and pension plan.
