Heavy Equipment Operator Jobs

We are looking to hire Heavy Equipment Operator’s for our Rowley, Utah Plant site (60 miles west of SLC). Pay is 30.29 to start with opportunities for advancement.

PPE will be provided. Applicants must be able to work various shifts (could include graveyards, weekends and holidays) and overtime as needed.

Job Duties

Checkout and operate all equipment associated with Grounds. Service and complete minor repairs to all equipment associated with the Grounds department. Mine, screen, sort, crush, load, haul, and stockpile feed.

Helps with other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Conscientiousness, punctuality, and dependability are essential.

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to multi-task and follow assignments through to completion.
• Satisfactory completion or progression in a qualified apprenticeship program or satisfactory progress towards an Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution in heavy industrial mechanical maintenance is desired.
• Two (2) years’ experience operating: Dozers, Graders, Scrapers, Excavators, Backhoes, Articulated trucks, Hwy trucks, Water trucks, Sewer truck, Stationary diesel engines, Generators, Vertical pumps, assorted gear drives, twin disc clutches Welders, torches, assorted power tools, assorted pneumatic tools, drill press, bench grinder, ironworker, cutoff saw, poly pipe welder, assorted hand tools, hose press, plasma torch, wire feed welder, assorted portable pumps, durco pumps, Crushers, Hopper, Feed belts, Off load bulk materials
• Attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in heavy industrial environment.
• Two (2) years demonstrated progressive work experience in a heavy industrial environment related to the troubleshooting, repair, installation, calibration, and maintenance of all phases of mechanical equipment.
