Job Description
Job Summary
This position manages the hospital’s adolescent health program Health (wellness and health workforce development) which includes collaborating with school districts, community agencies, and local government to promote wellness and develop interest in health careers for the future workforce. Responsibilities include preceptor supervision of Master’s degree public health (MPH) students as well as the recruitment, interviewing, orientation, and training of these interns. Other responsibilities include adapting curriculum, development of metrics and evaluation, and operationalizing the program. Additionally, oversees the collection, analyzing and reporting of data sets for reporting and funder requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: A Master’s degree in public health, social work, education, business or related degree.
Experience: Two years of community experience in organizing and executing projects, preferably in a health or community setting. This requirement may be met through a combination of professional, educational, and community service experience.
Knowledge And Skills
Ideal candidates will have:
  • Knowledge of data collection, analyzing, and reporting methods.
  • The ability to work with diverse groups including hospital management, schools, non-profits, civic/community partners, and the general public.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and effectively prioritize work.
  • Strong organizational abilities including planning, program development, and implementation.
  • Self-motivated an ability to work independently is required
License/Certifications:A valid driver’s license, CHES certification is desirable.
Equipment: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

$31.00 - $42.78
