Job Description
1,000 sign on bonus paid out within your first 9 months! Directly supervise Behavioral Health clients. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Job Requirements: Schedule: 10hr Shifts - Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues 12:00pm-10:00pm
  • Document pertinent information daily in the EHR based on observations and involvement with the patients as required.

We are looking for Health Service Specialists to work at our Triage and Crisis location the Rosecrance Mulberry Center located in downtown Rockford, IL.
  • Monitor and document client’s response to medication and report any notable response immediately.
  • Job Type: Full-time Flexible Spending Account
  • Serve as a member of the Health Services team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  • Provide client education in individual and group settings on topics including: medications, physical health, mental health and alcohol and substance abuse issues.

  • Serve as a role model for other staff, patients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  • Facilitate communication between clinical and medical staff.
  • Document client’s progress in the individualized Medical Treatment Plan for designated clients.
  • Valid Illinois driver's license Work hours prescribed by Nursing Manager and be available to work additional hours when necessary. Overtime may be required.
  • May participate in client rounds on the Unit(s) assigned.
  • Assist with preparing clients for medical consultation.
  • Assist with unit tech responsibilities as directed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  • Schedule client follow up medical appointments and coordinate transportation if necessary to outside providers.
  • Read all logs and obtain pertinent information from staff of previous shifts, counselors, staff, etc.
  • Dental insurance
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid training complete within three months
  • Provide follow up communication to clients with ongoing medical concerns.
  • Act as an advocate for all clients and report all physical/psychological concerns to the medical and clinical staff.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings of staff, such as nursing meetings, department meetings, or appropriate committee meetings as designated.
