As the newest member of our facilities team, you will assist in all aspects of our EHS and facilities projects, ensuring smooth operations of current locations and driving future expansion. You are a skilled OSHA professional with your ASP or CSP and a couple of years of experience in construction, facilities management, or environmental safety. You are technically savvy, goal-oriented, open to learning new systems and engaging in physical and construction activities when needed. This is a unique opportunity to advance and grow as we grow. Spend your days:
- Ensuring safety standards are met in all facilities providing a safe, clean, and functional environment
- Reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and diversity in all that you do
- Proactively communicating project status, schedules, and any issues
- Assisting in all aspects of facilities and EHS projects, including project scope, budget, and timelines ensuring compliance with all safety standards
- Assisting in the RFP and vendor selection process
- Working cross-functionally with all stakeholders and vendors
- Maintaining detailed records and any documentation associated with the project
Show us your:
- ASP, CSP or another BCSP certification
- Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID prior to employment
- Technically savvy with strong command of office basics and Ubuntu, Linux, or OpenSource Software – CAD knowledge a plus!
- 3+ years of environmental safety experience in a manufacturing or construction company
- Ability to work cross-functionally, coordinating the development of multiple projects
- Nimble and strategic problem solver with the ability to manage competing and time-sensitive priorities
- Comfortable maintaining documentation and records in our project management platform
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, environmental safety, fire code and hazardous material handling/storage
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and operate facilities equipment
