Head Women's Volleyball Coach

LC State invites applications for the position of Head Women's Volleyball Coach.

Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $56,000 - $60,000

Degree Required:

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience maintaining a budget
• Experience with fundraising and running tournaments and camps
• Coaching women's volleyball at the collegiate level

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of NAIA and Cascade Conference
• Ability to develop and foster mutually beneficial relationships within the college and community
• Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university

Responsibilities:

The Women's Volleyball Coach is responsible for the operations and management of the women's volleyball program including but not limited to:

• Devote Coach's full-time and best efforts to the performance of the Coach's duties
• Observe and uphold all academic standards, requirements, and policies of Lewis-Clark State College and encourage Team members to perform to their highest academic potential and to graduate in a timely manner; and
• Know, recognize, and comply with all applicable laws, and with the policies, rules, and regulations of Lewis-Clark State College, the Board, the conference, and the NAIA; supervise and take appropriate steps to ensure that Coach's assistant coaches, any other employees for whom Coach is administratively responsible, and the members of the Team know, recognize, and comply with all such laws, policies, rules, and regulations; and immediately report to the Director and to the Department's Director of Compliance if Coach has reasonable cause to believe that any person or entity, including without limitation representatives of Lewis-Clark State College's athletic interests, has violated or is likely to violate any such laws, policies, rules or regulations. Coach shall cooperate fully with Lewis-Clark State College and Department at all times. The applicable laws, policies, rules, and regulations include (a) Board policies; (b) Lewis-Clark State College's Handbook; (c) Lewis-Clark State College's Administrative Procedures Manual; (d) the policies of the Department; (e) NAIA rules and regulations; and (f) the rules and regulations of the conference of which Lewis-Clark State College is a member.
• Develop and implement programs and procedures with respect to the evaluation, recruitment, training, and coaching of Team members which enable them to compete successfully and reasonably protect their health, safety, and well-being;
