Tasks

• Oversee and lead the company's accounting and controlling function

• Execute accounting processes in the area of accounts payable/accounts receivable as well as general ledger postings

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting

• Assist in financial planning and analysis to provide strategic decision support to company leadership

• Be a key promoter of using data to drive decisions; support and enable reporting, distribution of data, and analysis of key business metrics

• Be part of the global Group Finance Department and support in regard to the development and optimization of processes and internal controls processes and IT consulting with focus on the mobility and manufacturing industries

• Prepare monthly and year-end closing – incl. annual financial statements (according to IFRS and local GAAP)

• Be the contact person for local external auditors and tax authorities

• Manage external Shared Service Provider

• Support MHP Group Treasury (preparation of local Cashflow Forecasts and – statements)

• Drive operational efficiencies through deep knowledge of processes and financial system

• Develop and maintain financial projection models to forecast short-term and long-term business results;

• Achieve a strong reputation as a business partner

• Support and execute local and global finance, compliance, and other relevant group initiatives

• Build up and out of local Finance and Controlling team, including Order Management and other relevant functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent education

• 8-10 years of work experience in the Accounting department of an international company

• Experience working in a global environment

• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of SAP FI (SAP SD)

• Ability to build strong relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders;

• Ability to quickly grasp and solve complex problems; deal with and manage change in a fluid environment;

• Prioritize competing projects and initiatives and focus resources in line with priorities

• Effective interpersonal skills vital to effectively manage and influence behaviors both within the team and organization-wide

• Profound knowledge of GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards

• Knowledge of tax regulations for the operative business

• Fluency in English
